Welcome to the Ullr Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Ullr Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Ullr Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Ullr Festival
This week-long winter carnival at Breckenridge pays tribute to Ullr (pronounced "Ooll-er", the Norse god of snow. Wacky snow olympics, skating, parades, dating games and kids' events make for a spirited time. This is really an event for locals, who believe that if they party hard enough then Ullr will bring them a prosperous winter season - if you want to catch them in truly high spirits then this is one of the weeks to visit. It takes place just after the International Snow Sculpting Competition, so the town is decorated with elaborate sculptures and there's a party atmosphere in the air.
The parade is a classic small town affair with local skiers, shops and restaurants entering floats, culminating with the crowning of the Breckenridge King and Queen.…...more!
